I doubt that. The 'other' and 'newer' shape is known since June last year. I doubt they are going to sit on their hands for more than 8-9 months just to release a sub 2 minutes promo vid.

BTW, the MMU in this vid drops a plain SOM instead of the internal carriage optimized SOM-J. And it also has wingtip pylons which is unique on 5th gen fighters. I don't think these wingtip pylons are impossible but just strange.

We'll see how the real MMU will end up. Or perhaps there is a very low chance they are designing the MMU in two different shapes?
The weapon bay and overall configuration doesn’t fit the new design, maybe the CG was made a long time ago but they didn’t release it till now? Wingtips doesn’t make any sense cuz both old and new design have side bays

SavunmasanayiST has info that TAEC (JV between Kale and RR - 51% and 49% respectively) is indeed working on the engine. A year ago in March 2021, the SSB director Demir said this about the talks with RR regarding the development of a turbofan engine for the MMU:

“Rolls-Royce does not have a ready engine for this aircraft. They were offering to develop an engine for this aircraft with a partnership they established in Turkey, but there were 5-6 items that we could not accept among the conditions of that development. We negotiated with them for a long time and in most of them it came to the end we wanted. At the moment we think it's an understandable issue. If they are ready, we are in a position to bring this business to a point with plus or minus. From our point of view, the problem has come to a certain point, and after that, it depends on the other side (Rolls-Royce), there are some numerical issues there, and we will decide on this when we see them. So the ball is on the opposite court.”

Last week Demir said:

“We also had the possibility of working with Rolls-Royce for the national engine. We had some concerns here, and we resolved these concerns as a result of the meetings we held. The work has begun.”

"After these statements, eyes turned to TAEC, which was established in partnership with Kale Group and Rolls-Royce. According to the information obtained by SavunmaSanayiST.com; The original engine to be used in the MMU will be developed by the TAEC company. With this project, Turkey will gain an important competence and capability in Turbofan engines."

Well, aren't they moving that "furniture" (mock-up) from one expo to another? It's just that their media team is extraordinarily lazy. That's why they use old contents on their social media platforms all the time.

Plus, both the internal and external geometries are already fixed
and they're already at the prototype production phase. Would you really expect them to change the geometry now!?

You're just seeking to start these dumbish discussions all the time. You always choose to get stuck at unrelated small details.

C'mon, would you really trust a bad animation more over the truth that most of the engineering is already done and they are already building the prototypes, do you really expect them to go back to an inmature-underdeveloped design?!

Be rational.

The 2 designs they've been putting out are different from each other. The older one was published based on the older size and weight stats of 19m length and 12m wingspan and max MTOW of 60k lbs and features one large main weapons bay while the 'later' variant has tandem weapons-bay and was put out after TAI updated its size to 21m length and 14m wingspan and max MTOW of >60k lbs. Besides the airforce, Havelsan has also used this 'later' design in their promo vid for the digital twin of the MMU at IDEF '21.

Perhaps they don't want to waste the time and money on building new mock-ups while putting out (wrong) CGI is far easier and less expensive.

Starting? You got the chronology wrong. It was I who made the first reply and you started the discussion which you are allowed to do so. The reason d'étre of forums are discussions and if you haven't noticed it yet, this is a specialized defense forum. Of course I'm going to discuss small details pertaining a defense product.

You don't always have to press the reply button. I advise you to think before posting something.

Another praise from the British MoD for the TB2:

In response to a question in parliament over how the Ukrainian air force was being assisted, Wallace said the TB2s were “delivering munitions” onto Russian “artillery and their supply lines”. This was “incredibly important in order to slow down or block the Russian advance”, he said.
