And where does all that come from? A lot of what the West says what they hate about China is communism. Well a lot of what they say hate about China was before communism ever existed. Communism is just the latest excuse. The real reason is an old and basic one and that is control. Race and culture are easy identifiers of those who they don't control and therefore automatically are seen as a threat. Westerners would go after each other if there were no other races because it's always about how much they do and don't control. And you just have to look at European history before colonialism to see that. It was no paradise... no "garden" of the world. That's why it was "medieval". Why is the West so race sensitive today is because the majority of the world is not their race. That's why racism is so much associated with the West. In this day and age the West needs resources that don't exist or don't have enough of naturally within their native homelands. Why do you think Europe tried colonizing the world? Was it just for plain evil fun? You want to admit that so you can escape admitting it was about control? The West has to play nice in the world and have to avoid looking like the monsters they were in the past. But countries like China are not as forgiving because actions speak louder than words. The West token gestures of humanity did not include the Chinese. And the West has such an intense history of hate of China because China chooses not to be controlled. Why do you think during the Cold War the Chinese were hated more than the Soviet Union where communism started? The West can't tell the truth why they hate China so they make up things like it's because of communism or human rights. How many things can be pointed out where the West defies their "values" they say they care about? Genocide in Gaza anyone? And who are the countries that see that? The countries the West doesn't control and the ones they see as their greatest threats today.

Hey you are being a bit unfair here. It's about rescources. Nothing more. East passed this stage too with it's own characteristics of course. Did Chinese imposed to Japanese their script? Yes. Did the warlorld period-feudal like-existed in east? Yes. Did Chinese, Korean or Japanese racial supremacy existed? Yes. Communism is another level of the discussion because it touches both the societal organization, rescources production and distribution. You can't compare India's cast system with the primitive Chinese Communism. Any comparison is laughable from any aspect. Think about it, Chinese communism of 2025 is primitive. Someone could say that both systems are capitalist. But cannot explain the qualitative and quantitive chaos between them

It could be a bluff on the EU to somewhat shift the Ukraine narrative and pressure onto them instead of Trump. This only works if the EU doesn’t call their bluff and go ahead and commit economic suicide. If they do then Trump gets boxed into a corner between Mid-Terms economic trade war or an hawkish bipartisan congress as Ukraine slowly crumbles.

If the EU morons are so desperate to win their collective Darwin Award by starting a trade war on China, they might just get a two for one combo deal with a hot war against Russia at the same time. Because what exactly is then stopping China from approving full send for lethal aid to Russia at long last at that point? The threat that the EU will send their pathetically tiny forces to Asia to fight China?

Trying to keep the EU neutral economically is the only thing holding China back from giving Russia the military industrial support it desperately wants. If the EU is ready to formally pick sides and jump in the trade war on America’s side, the gloves will come off from China. And with Chinese support, expect the Russians to get far more bold and aggressive about confronting NATO assets operating as part of Ukrainian kill chains to actively participate in attacks against Russia forces.

I saw a video earlier about Canadians going to China to try to negotiate the removal of tariffs on Canadian canola, these folks want China to just remove the tariffs but forgot they woke up one day and just placed tariffs on Chinese EVs just because daddy USA did the same. The west is starting to swallow the same medicine they've forced others to swallow for centuries and they are squirming all over the place because they don't like the taste of it. You're right about one thing, if they place tariffs on China and China restricts rare earths they'll cry foul and say it was against the agreement reached earlier, run in front of their citizens and cry about bad China.
