from a think tank known as the Third Way: the American public on average increasingly favors a "cooperative" rather than a "competitive" or "adversarial" relationship with China.

Some highlights from the Third Way report:

Thanks to the dramatic effects and market uncertainties created by President Trump's recent tariffs and threats of tariffs, more Americans — especially in their capacity as insatiable consumers — have found cause to (begrudgingly) "work with" rather than "work against" China.

The American public might still dislike, if not "hate the CCP," but the American consumer absolutely does not want to lose access to the affordable Chinese made creature comforts that they've grown accustomed, if not addicted to.
So basically, Trump's fuck ups have put the fear of Chinese power into American minds.

Anyway despite all this handicap, india is still developing though. Maybe not as fast as China during this same stage of her development but stil india is still developing quite fast(it looks slow only because China amd her east Asian peers rise was so fast and spectacular that it makes india's growth/development look very slow im comparison) and they still have alot of room for growth and a very young population.

This I disagree with, very strongly.

I believe the truth is we don't know. We just don't.

Is the Indian economy really growing? Maybe.

What is certain is the unemployment problem and underemployment problem. Underemployment is typical of a poor country.

What we do know is that India has a lot of subsistence farmers.

Incomes are very low in the cities.

Industry is not competitive.

There are some rich people, but they do not interact with the poor people.

The elite in India, are just like other elites, they are global in outlook. They could be increasing their wealth, aka GDP numbers for India increases too, but that is only for them.

Indian growth for the economy could make India weaker as a nation, because 40% will still be subsistence farmers, everyone else stays poor, only the rich gets richer, but industry never improves either.

Indian industry never improves because the rich Indian would rather invest somewhere else, like software services or aboard.

I hold those four things to be true. Subsistence farming, poor people in the cities, very low industrial capabilities, rich people who do not care at all for the fellow Indians.

Sure, the GDP numbers will go up, since I believe those four things to be true, that should directly mean nothing will change in India.

No matter how many countries nominate him for the NPP, he won't get it. It's a leftie organization who's flopped too often (Obama, ASSK, Abiy)

Besides, why accept a peace prize that carries the name of the inventor of dynamite and a weapons manufacturer/dealer? Oh the irony.

Aren't there any better people in the history of mankind to whom we can name a peace prize?
