I have no problem with her wealth if it is not through corrupt practice. A company like Huawei and its executive staff deserve the wealth that they created for themselves, for the country and the thousands of employees who have a job.

Do American arrest warrants need a Canadian judge’s approval to be executed in Canada?

I always suspected the arrest was a sneaked under the Canadian radar, and they didn’t really know what they were asked to do until it all hit the fan.

If that was the case, America probably just did some pretty substantial damage to not only it’s law enforcement relationships and agreements with Canada, but other allies as well.

I think China will make sure of it by serverly punishing Canada irrespective of what they do now.

Knowingly or not, the Canadians crossed a serious red line, and an example has to be set least other countries think its a good idea to kidnap Chinese nationals on trumped up charges on the behest of American officials.

I believe these are a part of extradition treaties. I read this is coming out of New York City. Remember New York home of Wall Street where the only the indictments to come out after the 2008 financial crisis was against a small Chinese community bank in Chinatown which had a home loan default record that would've been considered excellent if it were any other bank. New York is Euro centric. China is making New York lose its title as the financial capital of the world relegating it to just a regional capital in the near future. I'm sure there's a lot of resentment especially with the pro-Trump New York elitists.

Are you in Australia? heard that LDV selling well in Australia.
BIB is a KIWI, the LDV T60 is not doing that well but the LDV panel can is by Chinese automobile standard, a fair few running around in Sydney. The only thing I don’t like about the T60 is the front grille, look too garish to me

Canadian court releases Huawei's Meng Wanzhou on bail

And somehow, I am not 1% more inclined to forgive Canada. I've been thinking all day how to boycott them... but I can't find a damn thing I buy that's made in Canada as it is... LOL (I'm not a big maple syrup guy.)
you don't need to boycott Canadian products. you can boycott US products instead. Among them, Micro$oft products is the most you should boycott. For me, I would buy more Micro$oft things instead, you know why? because they are all pirate nearby me!!! :D:D:D

People shouldn’t celebrate too early, this is still a hell of a long way from over.

Meng is still a hostile, just one now held in a more comfortable cage.

Sure, she can now easily run, but doing so will cost her more than just the millions put up as surety. Running would make her a true criminal, and probably effectively end her career as not only would she not be able to safely travel outside of China, but her continued involvement with Huawei will forever be used by the west to further attack the company, making her a liability.

In a way, this is a savy move by the Canadians and Americans, as global attention and sympathies about the case will now rapidly fade with their collaborators in the MSM able to safely bury the story.

There is also the uncanny pattern of the US overthrowing democratically elected governments only to be replaced by dictatorships amenable to US interests. The motive for the US is clearly not just about whether a country's system of government is democratic.

"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer; a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."
