The USN is really a multi-racial force - re: picture of Top Sailors with the Vice-Chief of Naval Ops. Not many Navies can claim that.

So true..it's called diversity..

In 2008 42% of the US Navy enlisted persons was non-white. There are also a great many immigrants from many nations serving with the US Navy and the US DoD.

Great pics as always Popeye! But, LBJ for the next Zumwalt? Sorry, they need to get back to naming vessels for true military heroes, famous battles, or for other famous and notable American names and places as opposed to just a blanket for political figures.

LBJ and McNamara were not the best friends of the Navy IMHO.
