A Navy SEAL fires an MK-11 sniper rifle from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 9, deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, during a training flight. George H.W. Tks for the latest photos popeye. "UP THE NAVY" that was our cry when I was serving in the Navy as a mobilised Naval Reserve Officer. Yes, "UP THE USN" now and for the future. Our sea lanes are safe as of now. Hope there will not be any real major defence cuts by the Obama Administration.

Seeing these photos of the USN aircraft carriers and various warships whet my appetite to visit one of them.De only USN "ship" I visited was the USS Arizona Memorial during my trip to Hawaii. Suprising really, but I was on board Royal Navy ships several times & other S E Asian Navies' ships Perhaps one day I might be invited. In the meantime pl continue to send the photos, VMT.

9-11 Those who lost their lives must not be forgotten. The War on Terror must continue - not only the terrorists but those who cause pain to their own people, their neighbouring countries & the World at large!!
