Charles De Gaule carry 1000 m3 of fuel and with it can refuel her escort ships, very insteresting, useful.

Reading this and that's what I thought, i think US CVN can also, what qty ? and if have a problem with reactors have others engines eventually ?

Can make sense also for Iowa Class carrying a lot of fuel.

I've no idea...Sooooo.. I looked it up and it's about 3 million gallons (12.5 million LT)..I was not an engineer. I was aboard Nimitz in '91 and we re-fueled our escorts regularly...Never heard of a CVN having problems with reactors while underway.. They just keep running.

..and I don't do metric measurements...I do have a conversion chart.

Another factoid..did you know that a Nimitz calls can make 400,000 gallons of water a day? WOW!
