what is that white stuff that appeared on the ground after the detonation? like a long, squiggly white line of something?
Optical cable.

Most likelly the droe carried a small, shaped charge, hence the curvival of the guy.

Most likellz the charge was above the body of the drone, and underneath was the optical cable .

So there was the canister and the body of drone between the guy and the explosion.

Good use of available assets. Hueys with side gunners would be nice against slow flying drones... A huge lot of hueys rotting all around the globe. Dont know why they didnt end in Ukraine.

It's a two seater Yak trainer, like the ones in WW2.

Some Mi's are used by the Ukrainians with side gunners in machine guns to shoot down drones.

Some Hueys have already too much mileage to be safely flown.

Russians seem to prefer Ka-52M for shooting down drones. Having an AESA nose radar helps along with a 30mm cannon, which is the same used on a BMP-2. The Mi-28NM without a nose radar appears relegated to strike missions using LMUR.

A scene depicting the assault on a Ukrainian army stronghold in the Orekhovo area by reconnaissance troops from the Russian Southern Group of Forces. The exact location of the filming was not disclosed. The reconnaissance troops made a forced march on motorcycles, after which they attacked the stronghold.

Russia's 50th separate "Varyag" brigade, a unit of unmanned systems, published footage of Geran drones of various modifications being used in combat in Ukraine. It's possible that the Geran-4 jet drones were used. The drones are controlled by operators via a mesh network and can automatically select targets. The video shows Geran drones striking Ukrainian fuel depots, a gas processing plant, a train, vehicles, and other infrastructure. The drones also attacked Ukrainian checkpoints, drone crews, and mobile air defense units.
