The War in the Ukraine

M777A2 captured by Russians apparently. If true then guess they've reached the front lines.

What I would really like to see is captured PzH 2000 displayed next to Hummel and Grille, you know in chronological order.
What on earth? I think these only arrived on the frontline a few days ago. Did the Ukrainians deliver this straight to the Russians? It's not like they can just sell them to Russians like they have with their javelins and NLAWs, you'll need to cut the whole crew into the deal.

It looks very much like the one they filmed firing a round a few days ago:

Look at the vegetation surrounding it, and the marking on the barrel.

Is there any other proof it's been captured?

Edit: I think it's a screen capture from this video:
Look around 1:40 mins.

Referencing my previous post, think it got lost in the shuffle
You see on the first tweet you linked, you can see the integrated tow hook very clearly protrude from the end of the barrel. On the "captured" link, you can see where the tow hook should attach, but doesn't look like it protruding.

The other reason why I suspect "abandoned due to unrecoverable circumstances". It is in the 'packed' position, and we only have a narrow angle, but it doesn't look like there is any signs of being in a firing position (shell casings, dugouts, personal trash, etc.)

Problem with this landing isn't that losses aren't real - burned carcases don't lie.

Problem with those photos is that absolute majority of destroyed vehicles (excluding that unlucky tank company and pontoons) are BMP-1s, and there are some Ukraine-specific MT-LB variants in the mix(which admittedly could be captured).

BMP-1 in this conflict points either to Rebel republics or to Ukrainian armed forces*.

And while we can't really say for sure - end result is that this beachhead wasn't thrown back into the river.

*excluding BMP-1AMs from some Russian Siberian units, but those have very obvious and immediately distinguishable turrets.
The middle tank in one of the images PLAwolf posted clearly shows a Z painted on the glacis. Pretending these vehicles are Ukrainian is pure cope.
