Speaking of missiles, missiles like the KH-35U that are carried by the Su-34 would actually be much more useful for Russia, they could be fired from outside the range of air defence systems and they are much cheaper than say a KH-101 against targets that aren't that deep in enemy territory.
yet while they have certainly used these kinds of missiles but it doesn't look like they are using them as often as is needed, I guess they have a shortage of such missiles or something.

Kh-35U is small missile with 150kg warhead. These Kh-101 has minimum of 450kg warhead and we dont know whether they increase the warhead and decrease the range in some versions. this long range strikes are complex and classified task.

P-800 aka Brahmos has different warhead size for domestic and export versions.

It is not match that every kick to the ball need comment. responses are for effective show but course stay the same.
Russia interest is that Kiev government not fall so soon nor this conflict settle down. they may get local cease fires like grain deal in Odessa. those interests are not easy to discern but that override every thing.
You touched on an important point. Do you know how Ukraine managed to attack the Crimean bridge? Through that Odessa grain deal. That's exactly what I'm talking about. As long as the leadership does not change this stance, the AFU's actions will become increasingly aggressive and difficult to control, which will trigger them to do anything from blowing up border cities in Russia to terrorist attacks in Moscow.

AFU lost S-300PT towards Zaporozhye by Lancet kamikaze drone

Rumors Russia has ordered 2,000km range Arash 2 kamikaze drones from Iran

Another estimate of the contingent employed by the AFU in the direction of Kherson and also in the Donbas

1.jpg
The AFU began a broad offensive towards Mylovoe in Kherson. Reports that Russia had been preparing artillery since late in the morning and had built up reserves in the same direction, the situation now is that the broad support of MLRS and kamikaze drones is being effectively employed in the Ukrainian positions.

Some other reports that the AFU deployed 25 tanks towards Nova Kam'yanka in Kherson to break through while under the influence of Russian artillery.

In Kiev, explosions were reported, apparently they were power infrastructure, there have already been reports of reduced energy consumption and temporary blackouts in the Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions due to the strike in the Kiev region. Further explosions are heard in Sumy and Chernihiv and a second time in Kiev.

Just a brief edit: In one source I read that the order for Ukraine is to get Kherson back until the US elections on November 8th to help the Democratic cause.

VKS is also active in this direction.

This is going to make the life of the Ukranians in the south a little bit more difficult for the coming offensive, particularly if they also managed to get other stuff in the area

Russia is resurrecting its dead commanders, now Magomed Tushaev, the ghost of Chechnya, has appeared.
So instead of artillery rounds, the Russians got Juche Necromancy from North Korea

General Magomed Tushaev, a Chechen warlord, was reported to have been killed in a battle in Ukraine after a 56 tank convoy of Chechen tanks were destroyed near Hostomel, according to The Daily Mail.
Those Chechens and their holy resurrection passive ability.
