This smells like it's might be connected to the alleged sale of HIMARS and other equipment. Close timing of events.

I highly doubt HIMARs can be sold so easily. The rumors suggest Russian patrols/scouts will accidentally stumble upon HIMARs in a shed in the "grayzone" in the frontlines. However, HIMARs has range of 70km, and Donestk has a max width of 90km, and Ukraine taking extra precaution to not accidentally hit Russian home territory across the border, there is no reason why HIMARs needs to operate so close to any "grayzone" or frontlines. Plus, to monitor it's positioning to avoid hitting Russian home territory, I'm betting the HIMARs will be accompanied by American unarmed "advisors" or "trainers" to provide support and track it's sensitive materials location. The US "advisors/trainers" would not allow them to operate anywhere near the frontlines or would just alert the State Department. There is only 4 units of HIMARs so far, so 25% of HIMAR stock disappearing without Americans noticing is also farcical.
Hmmm. What about the Himars reload vehicle, was that taken as well? The theory I have heard being floated is that there were at least two parties/teams involved, the HIMARs driver, and a second recovery team.
The driver will ‘accidentally’ drive the HIMARS into a ditch or similar rough terrain and get it immobilised. As the crew evacuates, probably with encouragement from ‘Russian drones’ sightings overhead (which the recovery team could fly themselves for maximum authenticity and likelihood of success), the recovery team moves in with a recovery vehicle to tow the HIMARS out of the ditch and drive it away before the original crew returns to try to recover it themselves.
Then it’s just a matter of negotiating with the Russians on which barn to park it to get paid.
No idea, might have just been a flukey bonus if it was also abandoned. Or could have been from two separate events.Hmmm. What about the Himars reload vehicle, was that taken as well?
I strongly doubt there were HIMARS that were captured or sold. We'd have seen pics and the Russians would have provided evidence milking the ensuing scandal. This smells like it's might be connected to the alleged sale of HIMARS and other equipment. Close timing of events.
Yeah, would be funny if Russian psyops about such sales got the Ukrainians so keyed up their commissars inadvertently immobilised their HIMARS by executing drivers for attempted sabotage every time they hit a pot hole and everyone else in the unit all suddenly remembered they cannot drive.I strongly doubt there were HIMARS that were captured or sold. AFU invading Russia on kids bicycle's with wwii machine guns & running around in civilian vehicles, i wonder where did all that 40 billion $ went!
After looting Iraq, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan they still need to beg, which seems to be infectious. 1st it was Lithuania then Poland & now Norway and Canada are sailing the same ship! to raise funds to buy TB2 drones
