The War in the Ukraine

Do any other countries produce 152mm shells? It would be a massive money maker for them right now.

AFAIK Russia is the only country that still uses 152.4 mm (converted from 6 inches) ammo. No other country does except maybe Belarus. The rest of the world uses 155 mm. 6 inches ammo dates to before WW1 at which time Russia imported it from Britain and adopted 6 inch gun.

How can they have lost 50% of their entire heavy weaponry inventory, I read on Oryx that only Russians have been taking losses? Russians can only hit hospitals and schools?

It turns out pretending your army wasn't being smashed to pieces isn't a smart long term strategy. Maybe after Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan should have just acted like things were fine and carried on with the war.

What I'm curious about is military casualties. If they've lost half their equipment, how many soldiers have been killed or injured?

yesterday the german chancellor, the italian pm and the french president went to kiev and met zelensky.
these countries have been pushing for a peace deal in the last few weeks.
today, the british pm went to kiev unannounced and probably urged zelensky to refuse any compromise and keep fighting.

some ukrainians (psyops maybe? possible) give some insight into the larger play at work here
10 000 ? It's no more than 2 weeks of blood...

The further one is from Ukraine, the more eagerly one urges the Ukrainians to keep on dying..

Russian troops launched a double missile strike with cruise missiles on military targets in Nikolaev in Ukraine

The Ukrainian army shot down its helicopter. The Ukrainian military said they shot down a Russian helicopter. But the authors of the video did not take into account that only the Ukrainian Air Force has white Mi-24s; they were used in UN humanitarian missions in the Congo. Zooming in on the camera, you can clearly see that the color of the helicopter that is shot down is white, Russian Mi-24 and Mi-35M helicopters are not painted white.

This wouldn't certainly ends well

Adding onto to the original post, I wonder what the command structure is over there. Since the SBU is primarily an intelligence agency, the fact that they commanded the foreign legion to cover the Ukrainians' retreat indicates that they may have a hand in conventional operations.
I assume SBU acted as some sort of political commisars of the Ukrainian army, there has been some reports of Ukrainian shooting their own defectors by using Barrier troops according to Russian MoD reports

Most of those tanks were in storages and not combat worthy. And Ukrainians lack industrial capacity to refurbish them - most of plants were destroyed by precision strikes. But even if they had those tanks, there is another problem - fuel shortage. Ukrainians simply lack enough fuel to operate large tank formations.
