A video of Reddit's pet, Ken Rhee and his friends, running away from the russians after having an artillery strike called on them.

Could explain why he went back to South Korea despite the risk of getting trialed and losing his passport. Good luck fighting North Koreans, who seem to love artillery even more than the Russians do.

“, a local charity that, among other endeavours, trains artillery crews”

just another curious expression of how blinkered and detached from any baseline reality the supporters of ukraine have become.

I can just as well call the russian army an international charity that, amongst other endeavors, familiarizes deprive ukraine women with the joys of intimacy with russia men.

New American mercenary video dropped:

Well it didn't take long for him to start spewing Russian propaganda.

Before anyone says but he's been tortured, evil Russians, etc. Look at his demeanour, he's laughing and joking. I don't think he's undergone any bad treatment at all.

As a comparison, compare it to the two tornado pilots that were captured by Saddam in the Gulf War.
Both underwent serious torture before they agreed to appear on video, and even when they did they were more defiant than this guy.

It seems to me all these mercenaries don't really care about the Ukrainian cause and just wanted to use it as an opportunity to kill Russians.

3 data points below.

If you combine them, it implies Ukrainian casualties (at almost 1000 per day) are running at 8-10x higher than Russia (100-130 per day)
Then the question becomes who collapses first because they run out of soldiers

"He reckons Russian artillery barrages are now responsible for about 80% of Ukrainian casualties. Figures on the other side are no doubt similar."

"Russia is firing as many as 50,000 artillery rounds a day into Ukrainian positions, and the Ukrainians can only hit back with around 5,000 to 6,000 round"

One of the things I think is a possibility is Ukraine throwing up their hands and going all out against Russia. As a punishment against the West for failing to provide and delaying the heavy equipment and NATO arms deliveries.
Going all out against Russia with what??? Most of their troops and equipment are more or less involved in the meat grinder... Even the womans and kids left abroad.

Not a lot of pictures of overburden hospitals or transports of wounded soldiers and we don't see that a lot of POW... . It's impressive that the Ukrainian can keep their troops from deserting or raise a white flags.

1) They are shooting their own to maintain order or
2) They make some kind of rotation to bring fresh motivated troops or
3) They just die like lemmings without any chance of getting the hell out of the way...

They will crumble somehow, it's impressive that the front is somewhat stable in the past few days.

I think the 150 killed are surely on the low side. The actual number could be 2-3x that. The Russian artillery certain should be improving over time to be more and more effective. In the meantime, the Ukrainians are all holed up in a few places.

Surrendering is very difficult in these places. The cannons means the Russians are at least 5-10 km away. In the meantime, your own troops are just nearby. There is no one to surrender to and you risk getting shot by your buddies if you try to surrender. Even if you try to slip away at night, the enemy will have a hard time deciding if you are trying to attack or surrender.
