The War in the Ukraine

Just show how little people actually know about Soviet nuclear industry. long story short, it doesnt involve Ukraine in any part except the rockets. Russia doesnt have any shortages in ballistic missile design bureaus.. with big names like NPO Mashinostroyenia (UR-100 family), Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology (MITT), Makayev OKB and all still running. While Ukraine have just Yuzhnoye or Yangel OKB.

All the design bureaus and industries that designed and manufacturing the warhead, encryption equipment, communications etc are in Russia proper. Those nukes never belong to Ukraine in the first place. Even the Encryption keys and communications to transmit launch orders are in Russia.

The only viable alternative for Ukraine to get nukes is a nuclear sharing agreement with NATO/US in the same manner as deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus or AUKUS which can allow US and British nukes deployment in Australia.
Best thing is that these people seem to think that saying "no" to turning over the nukes was even an option. Had the Ukrainians refused to give them up, best case scenario they'd just get sanctioned into oblivion by both sides.

Compilation of recent Lancet strikes taking out tanks, trucks, howitzers, and SPGs

Ukrainian tank struck by fiberoptic drones from the Sudaplatov unit. This might be VT-40 with fiberoptic.

Giatsint-S at work on its targets. This SPG is popular among artillerists of the Russian Army with good reason despite its age and being supercedes by the MSTA-S. One reason lies with it's use of Krasnopols. The heavier propellant charge of the Hyacinth howitzers enable a better range over its successor the MSTA howitzers.

M777 taken out by a Lancet.

At one time the Russians were going to obsolete their entire 220mm MLRS category, looking to stick to the 122mm Tornado-G (Modernized Grad) and the 300mm Tornado-S (Modernized Smerch). But war and battle priced otherwise and the Uragan has resurged in popularity among Russia rocker artillery forces.

Ukrainian vehicle, probably a supply transport, was spotted by a Russian UAV and a Lancet was dispatched to finish it off.

As the Russians close in on Pokrovosk, so is intensity of drone attacks on Ukrainian vehicles in the area.

The video provided by Rubicon (Russia's new Unmanned Systems Force) is interesting and shows several attacks carried out with the new FPV drones, which are guided by wires and have night vision.

The Russian industry is already producing this system in series. Nights in Ukraine have become a trap, due to the exceptional image quality.

Footage of an attack by Russian VT-40 FPV drones, controlled via fiber optic cable, on a Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 tank. The video was filmed in the Kursk region of Russia, near the village of Novosergeevka. The Leopard 1A5 tank was created in Germany in 1987, it is a modernization of the first Leopard-1 tank. The Leopard 1A5 tank is maneuverable, it weighs 42.2 tons. But it has thin armor, in Germany it was decommissioned in 2010. The Leopard 1A5 tank was attacked by two Russian FPV drones.
