Footage has been published of a strike by a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile on a Ukrainian 5N63S command post with a 30N6 illumination and guidance radar of the S-300PS air defense system. The video was filmed from afar in the Pavlograd area of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite the low quality of the video, this clip is interesting because it shows a virtual confrontation between Soviet and Russian weapons. The S-300PS air defense system was developed in the USSR in 1982 and can hit targets at flight speeds of up to 1200 m/s. Ukraine previously had about 200 S-300PS/PT launchers in service. Ballistic missiles are a difficult target even for new air defense systems. As expected, the Ukrainian S-300PS air defense system, armed with 5V55R missiles, was unable to shoot down the Iskander-M missile. The speed of the Iskander-M missile at the final stage of flight reaches 2100 meters m/s. As a result of the Iskander-M missile strike, the Ukrainian command post 5N63S of the S-300PS air defense system was destroyed. At the end of the video, an evacuation group arrived at the radar.

Not much has been heard of the M777 howitzer lately. I suppose most of them have been destroyed.

An episode of work in the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine, servicemen of the Stavropol airborne assault regiment of the Russian group of troops "Dnepr". The mobile crew uses, presumably, a homemade buggy, armed with an ATGM "Kornet". ATGM "Kornet" is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 8000 meters. The tactics of such crews, rapid movement to a given position and leaving it. Presumably, a stronghold of the Ukrainian army was fired upon.

Russians are blasting through Ukrainian cities and settlements with a new weapon, or more precisely, a new variant of previous weapon. Here we see the Molniya winged FPV drone attached with TM-62 antitank mines doing kamikaze on Ukrainian strongholds.


The final Ukrainian defensive position in the Kurakhovko city falls under heavy bombardment by the 238th Artillery Brigade using MSTA-B howitzers. Since then the capture of Kurakhovko has been completed.

Prince Vandal drone takes out a 2S22 Bogdana. The production of this SPG has outpaced other Western 155mm ones like the CAESAR and this is why we're seeing more of them in the front.

A big fire happened in a poultry plant in the Kursk region that some Russian media jumped to the conclusion that it was a Ukrainian drone attack. Turns out this was from failed wiring.

The video shows a Russian drone from the Okhotnik special forces unit of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Group of Forces attacking a Ukrainian robotic transport platform. The Russian drone carried out the attack by dropping ammunition. The model of the Ukrainian robotic transport platform could not be determined, judging by the video, the transport robot was transporting provisions.

Maybe they have or towed howitzer in mud is not a good mix and it's one of the reason that we see them less.

But talking about mud, it doesn't look that bad at all for a winter season presently. So your option is probably true.

The moment you start to see vintage M198 and M119 howitzers appear in the battlefield, which was around late spring of last year, you know the M777s were already cooked, as these means US inventories of M777 are depleted and this may include shadow deliveries. Instead US is pulling out inventories of old howitzers like the M198. BAE however has started to produce M777s under contract to supply Ukraine but I don't think it's changing the situation much. Ukraine has started to rely more on wheeled howitzers like the 2S22 Bogdana, Archer, Caesar, Susana as these are quicker and easier to produce than a tracked howitzer. However they are harder to conceal.

You have four generations of military experience with no knowledge how to fight a major war against a big power. The arrogance the US has right now is similar to what Russia has before the Russo-Japan war. I mean if they are struggling against Yemen in the Red Sea how will they fare against China in the Pacific?

The kind of stupidity is phenomenal. That is why UFO only show up in US, or the numerous conspiracy theories.

Here is another example.
An honor guard fainted during Jimmy Carter's funeral service. The comments are flooded by smart asses claiming it is because the soldier locked his knees, many of them bragged that they were told by their instructors while serving in US militaries. What a full house morons. Maybe these people have mutated so that their blood vessels to the brain are wired to pass their feet.

I was in Chinese military training for more than a month, 95% of our 12 hours daily activities were standing still and goosestepping. Nobody talked about "not locking knees", and Chinese army is the most prefect army in formation discipline. There is only once in my experience when right after dinner, 40 of us (a class from colledge) were orderred to stand at attention for a undetermined time, after 40 minutes, one guy fainted. We were just 18 year-old teens, untrained, had a full meal (blooding running away from brain).

I am happy that the US is full of these people and more importantly they are much more influential in US than their counterpart elsewhere, at least in China.
