Kurakhovo under threat of encirclement in the biggest cauldron of the war so far, as Group Center advances from the north and Group East advances from the south. There's also fighting within Kurakhovo itself. The two pincers are closing at a rapid rate.

P.S.
On the bright side, once Scholz is out of the chancellor's office, there is a high probability that Ukraine will be given a Taurus and unleashed
"From China"... has a US flag patch. Can you at least make an effort?

Actually, it might not be your fault. The Ukrainians saw he had slanty eyes and that, of course, means he's from China. The casual racism makes them so sympathetic:

Ukraine already has the Storm Shadow. It is just more of the same.

The Russians will be able to add the signature of the Taurus to their SAM database. And they will pass this information to other countries. South Korea is a user of the Taurus so its effectiveness against either North Korea or China will be diminished.

That means he's not "from China"
Sorry but I think this forum is majority Chinese with passports of different countries, who in spirit consider themselves Chinese with deep feelings for China. The connection with the historical homeland does not disappear for everyone.

The Russians are winning comfortably, there isn’t any reason for them to throw NK formations wholesale into the fight. Especially when those NK troops, equipment and tactics have not been battle tested. Do you really want to risk having whole sectors fold if the NK troops are not up to snuff?

Not saying the NK troops will do badly necessarily, but the Russians themselves have plenty of history and knowledge about how unreliable allied armies can be more of a hindrance than an asset from their battle histories fighting the Germans.

If Russia wants to deploy NK troops to the fight, it would make far more sense to deploy them slowly and as part of larger Russian formations so that they can both evaluate their combat worth, as well as pass on hard won experience and knowledge.

What better way to start than with NK artillery? You have very easily slot a few batteries of them into the order of battle while keeping them relatively far from the front lines to ease them into things. At the same time you can embed some NK artillery forward observers in Russian frontline units to build trust and learn how to best co-ordinate their joint efforts.

Only after such trials have been completed and the inevitable teething issues resolved would you want to progress to giving NK forces responsibility for whole sections of the front.

As for compensation, I don’t think Su57s are needed. Some Su35s will already be a quantum leap for the NK air force.
I don't understand what you are getting at: there are so many other models and according to Oryx the Russians lost at least 417 pieces of towed artillery and as many as 851 pieces of self-propelled artillery of which 31 were 203mm Pions (half of those originally in service, but before the conflict according to wiki there were actually 260 more in storage).

Of 2S5s, which precisely are instead of the more inflated 152mm caliber, many more turn out to have been lost, namely 78, which means almost all of those originally in service, but in depot wiki says they had 850, so I don't understand why you're talking about a derisory number.

They originally had a lot of artillery in storage, but you have to see how many vehicles have already been reactivated to fire like there's no tomorrow, how many are still reactivated, and how many are only used as a source of spare parts, particularly barrels that have a shorter life span than Western vehicles because of the lower quality of the steels and the poor quality of the firing charges.

I would then point out that the Oryx figures for artillery necessarily are even more underestimated than those for vehicles used in assaults, because what is destroyed perhaps by counterbattery fire dozens of kilometers behind the front line is not always documented: the Ukrainians here say (...) that they have eliminated over 20000 pieces...

Beyond that, if the intention is to try to fire farther than the Western-supplied guns, the surviving Pions I believe are relatively few by Russian standards of volume of fire, and the M-1989 Koksans come in handy (whether the Russians or the North Koreans use them).

Do you think Russia has not been taking those artillery guns out of storage and refurbishing them? There have been reports of further upgrades of 2S7 Pion to 2S7M Malka happening mid war for example.

Of course the Koksan would help since the North Koreans have a waste amount of artillery ammunition for them.

The Koalitsiya is also presently in serial production and should be getting delivered to the Russian troops this year.

Grad MLRS strikes a Ukrainian deployment area in Seversk. Despite it's ubiquity with both sides, Grads are such nasty weapons that both sides are eager to publish if one on the other side gets destroyed. The deployment point of the AFU 54th Brigade was targeted and an ammo depot was destroyed among others.
