The Russians continue to push on and slowly advance despite this costing horrendous losses both in Kursk (where the Ukrainians wanted to consume the Russians on their own territory)...

than in the Kurakhove sector, where the Ukrainians, however, are in trouble..

Below you can see the dam explosion, which is, however, attributed to the Russians and not the Ukrainians as Majakovsk does...

While the newly-elected American disaster maker thinks of new ones, the Ukrainians prepare for the worst...

and the Europeans had better get busy

I believe ukraine trying to hold kursk is the biggest mistake they are doing. Both side are suffering heavy loss. But it seems ukraine suffering more casualties compare to russian. On top of that they are already having hard time to recruit more people. IMO this will quicken the process of ukraine(zelensky government) downfall.

Islander strike at a concentration of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. The first strike was followed by missiles with cluster munitions. Of course there's always the possibility this is Tornado-S.

So the Russians have an 10:1 artillery advantage, and they recently did an exchange where the Russians exchange 1 dead Russian for 10 dead Ukrainians. And you still believe this. Ukraine's Kursk "offensive" is just Krynky 2.0.

The dam was clearly blown up with explosives installed by demolition engineers. And it was located in Ukrainian held territory when it blew up. But of course it was the Russians which blew it up.

I wouldn't be surprised by these losses either ..

Given that there are 50000 men in the Kursk, I wouldn't be so sure that the operation didn't distract the Russian forces. Maybe the Ukrainians were hoping to block the advance in the Donbass, which didn't happen, but those 50,000 Russians (and the 10-15,000 Ukrainians facing them) placed elsewhere might have been able to do more damage (in Pokrovsk and Vovchansk).... Then it's not just about killing as many Russians as possible (brutally), but also about where this happens. If it happens in Kursk, they bomb and devastate their villages instead of the Ukrainian ones...

If it was about trying to inflict losses on Russia, it's much smarter to let Russians come to your ground. In some of the Russian offensive actions, Ukraine had achieved near 1 to 1 kill ratios, by using heavily fortified terrain.

It's just an awful fail, maybe they expected the eastern front to be relieved, maybe they just want to show the west that they can still "attack". The first town they reached they got stopped in, and Russia is laughing to the bank with the amount of equipment and kills they can milk from this salient where even Orions are flying unimpeded over Ukrainian formations...

And Ukraine cannot easily retreat from here either, since it will cause a cork opening effect if they pull back en masse.

I mean at first their main goal was to capture kursk nuclear power plant. But that didnt happen and later they said it was to distract russia armed force which they also failed to do. Instead russian decided to focus on capturing donbass while additional force send to defend from advancing ukraine force. Now russian are counterattacking and slowly recapturing their territory. While ukraine losing their best soldiers in kursk. My main question is what they have achieved from this? To kill as many russian as they can? Because let me tell u they have much larger manpower compare to ukraine who already lost many people migrating to other countries. Time is not on ukraine side. As more and more people die there would be a day when their people had enough and decided to rebel against their government.
