Bad. Ukrainians destroyed their own YPR-765 with an FPV drone. They thought it was a Russian MT-LB, I am scratching my head how. Effects of rushed and insufficient training ts showing.


Not posting it but there was a gadawful footage of a Lancet that crashed straight right into a tight bunch of Ukraine soldiers evacuating their wounded. A Russian UAV observed the event. Attacks like these tell you limits on Lancet targets are lifted and are not restricted to equipment and vehicles. Happened in Volchansk.

Ukrainians attacked the Adygra airfield, at the warehouse allegedly where hundreds of Geran UAVs are stored. The smoke indicates a facility where fuel and lubricants are stored was hit instead.


Geran arrives and hits it's target in Krivoy Rog.


A parking lot with AFU vehicles was hit. Six trucks and an SUV were destroyed.

Unique footage of simultaneous combat operations of the Ukrainian Patriot air defense system of American manufacture and the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system of Russia has been published. The Patriot air defense system division was deployed in the area of the settlement of Pashena Balka in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. It is worth noting that the Patriot air defense system was deployed with violations; the system should have been covered by other air defense systems to operate against small targets. Due to the lack of cover, the Russian Orlan-M UAV conducted unimpeded reconnaissance and guided missiles to the target. The Patriot air defense system crew detected the Iskander missiles and launched two interceptor missiles. The Patriot missiles went to the target, but due to the fact that the angle of approach of the Iskander-M missiles to the target exceeded 80 degrees, the guidance radar lost the target, and the guidance of the interceptor missiles ceased. As a result of the battle, Iskander missiles, using the air burst method, hit the AN/MRO-65 radar, the AN/MS0-104 combat control station and one Patriot SAM launcher. The extent of the damage is unclear, since the filming was done from a great distance.

That missile clearly missed the target by 10s of meters. There could still be damage due to fragments or not, depending on how directed the warhead is. -

I don't see interceptor proximate fuze going off, seems very copelike to think any of those patriots managed to lock the Iskander let alone potentially damage it.

I think most AA missile does not hit their target directly, but explodes when in close range (few metres) and use shrapnels to damage the target. Iskander has a much larger warhead, 10 metres is well within its demage zone. By your definition of "missing target" even an ICBM will "miss" its target by about 50 meters. A patriot interceptor missile will equally "miss" its target even if it detonated near iskander warhead.

Or that Iskander carry Penetration aid and it works.

These are the same people who said the Russian GDP would collapse by 10%.

The current embargo will reduce Russian GDP by around 9.5% annually, assuming oil and gas exports remain in line with those in 2021, according to analysis by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. This implies that tax revenues will drop by about $18 billion — which isn’t a huge sum compared with the available reserves. But if Russia can’t export its oil and gas, it will have to compensate for an additional revenue shortfall of $120 billion.

The conclusion of all these calculations is simple: As long as Russia can continue to export oil and gas, it can finance the revenue shortfalls generated by the sanctions for a long time. But the economic toll will be enormous: GDP will drop nearly 10% over the next 12 months alone and may not stop there.

And how do they compute these statistics? Using information from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense?
