The War in the Ukraine

There is only one answer to the constant erosions of the red line. More and more Russian mobilization of man power and industry. Russia is still playing at war instead of seriously fighting it tooth and nail. In WW2, they were able to field an army of 12 million as their maximum. Population of the soviet union was 180 million in 1939. That's not much bigger than modern Russia. Yes, maybe Russia has less younger men or less ability to mobilize that many people.

But they should have the ability to mobilize 2 million easily. Right now they are fighting in Ukraine with 3-400 thousand men. Its too small.

The key for the Russian victory in WW2 was not simply conscripting and expending 2 generations of men- it was how they reformed their army in wartime conditions from an army that was incapable of combined-arms maneuver warfare to one that could pull off "Deep Battle/Soviet Blitzkrieg" by 1943. This was a very complicated process. Without this institutional achievement they've would have been bogged down in positional war.

Whether the Russian federation will be able to innovate/reform like the Soviet Union this remains to be seen- they could be trying to do so behind the scenes to create a new military for the 21st century.

I posted a link to some open sources about the 153rd Tank Regiment (newly raised in 2023) of the 47th Tank Division. It does not appear to be substantially different in organization to pre-war or even cold war tank units.

Regarding escalation, they appear to be careful not to escalate too much themselves, and keep the war at low intensity, and minimize the West's interference. Literally every victory they get, gets some sort of response from the West ( look at what happened after the Kharkiv' operation). If they do have great combat power, it will be revealed when they start using 1 million heavy artillery rounds a month like in 2022 (if they have it).

The political and economic cost to the Russian state to declare war on Ukraine is much higher than all the propaganda strikes with Western weapons.

There is a a trump card that Russia could use without having to encounter any of these side effects. Deploy DPRK forces.
I'm imagining nightmare scenario (if true) of deploying DPRK forces. Would they be trustworthy troops that won't defect for a meal? Are they the "well trained" troops? How the hell are they going to communicate with Russian forces incase they get pounded by Ukraine arty and PFV drones? Are they bringing their own equipment like tanks, IFVs, MLRS, SP arty, towed arty and other armored vehicles?

So many question but I gotta admit I am very intrigue (if true) to see DPRK forces fight and see what they got.

Instead of ramming drones which can make you lose one, Russian are using drones dropping nets on Ukrainian drones to crash them, maybe even capture and recycle them for their own use.

Some channels called this a FAB strike but this strike turns out to be using UMPB D-30SN. From the strike perspective there's nothing to indicate a UMPB from a FAB-250 UMPK strikes. Both tends to appear in clusters of four and both allow strikes from a greater range. The UMPB however allows for a more streamlined body to achieve even greater range, and will be gradually see more numbers used as the stocks of FAB-250 are depleted.

FAB-500 strikes in Zaporozhye and Kherson. I would think the Russians are caple of landing multiple FABs at the same spot nearly at the same time, would that make larger FABs redundant?

North Korean troops were in both Syria and Libya, didn't hear about any defections from those places. North Korea even rents out its forced workers to employers in the European Union (Poland, Czechia and Malta included), again without defections.
