The War in the Ukraine

From a U.S. perspective, the Democrats really only need to sustain Ukraine till end of the year after November elections. As long as Ukraine doesn't suffer a total collapse till then, the outcome of the war matters a lot less for Biden. You can already see MSM changing the narrative on the war since December and preparing for a Ukrainian defeat.

Could also hint at a lack of even drone-droppable grenades, as well
Not really. Grenades do not deny an area to vehicles with tires and require a decent amount of precision to be used to achieve the user’s desired effect. Think of the comparison as a flashbang vs spike strip that are used by the police to stop vehicles.

What Ukrainian military industry? It has mostly vanished after the strikes on the first year. The only thing left are artisanal workshops where people assemble drones in their houses or they try to repair tanks in garages. Their equipment is basically all imported.
They seem self sufficient in terms of UAV/UUV production at least and have been able to continue to repair and keep their limited air force in operation, cottage industry is still industry when the entire country is under Russian fire control.

If China was really that invested in a Russian victory, it would've put a lot more effort into stopping UAV component imports into Ukraine.

True, but how often do Russians use wheeled vehicles compared to tracked ones in most of their recent attacks?. Also mud could make them ineffective as they would sink into the mud under the pressure instead of puncturing the tyre.

For now at least. But every few days or so, a repair shop or a make shift drone manufacturing center gets an Iskander or FAB or Geran or cruise missile on it.

It's not hard to spot one. First look for something like a hanger or warehouse. Observe the type of vehicles going into it, or parked in or near it. Look for buildings, for example, abandoned malls or shopping centers. Or schools. The kind of people, vehicles, and communication, going in and out of it. A civilian structure turned military use will have military trucks and people in camouflage, it's either turned into an ammo depot, vehicle hanger, barracks, headquarters, and production center for something. It's all happening because Ukraine can no longer stop the Russian drones from doing hyper reconnaissance. These are things I learned from videos of how the Russians do it.

The local people that will betray these locations are always there. There's the pro-Russian. There's the people that just hates Zelensky and the neo nazis. And then there's just the corrupt, who are willing to sell out to make a buck.

Knocking out electricity will affect these production centers. So what will the Ukrainians do? Use portable generators. But these will reveal themselves through their heat signatures. Then there's the trail of fuel trucks.

Sooner or later, you're just going to run out of structures.

The Lyiv shopping center burning again.

Details have become known about how the 74th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of Russia used the remote-controlled robotic platform "Courier" in battles in Ukraine. Previously, we talked about Russian ground-based “Courier” drones and showed how Ukrainian drones attacked them. Technical details in the link to the video in the comments to the video. Now "Courier" is the most famous of the ground-based Russian robotic platforms used in battles in Ukraine. Details in the video.

Well it is still lame. Producing UAVs of the kind Ukraine does isn't particularly challenging in industrial terms. They are importing basically everything and only do final assembly. If not outright buying drones from China and lightly modifying them to use as destructive devices.

If China was really that invested in a Russian victory, it would've put a lot more effort into stopping UAV component imports into Ukraine.
Exactly. Thus far we have basically no evidence of China favoring Russia in any special way in this conflict. They sell dual use items to both sides. But of course this isn't enough to the US, they would rather China continues selling to them and their side but cut exports to Russia.

It will likely pose an issue to the logistical supply vehicles. Those are mostly wheeled.

What's in the aid package?
Mike Johnson explained that up to 80% of US military aid to Ukraine corresponds to the replenishment of US weapons and ammunition stocks, that is, of the US$61 billion package, close to US$49 billion will go directly to the defense industry of the USA, boosting the economy and creating jobs.

Taking into account the fact that, in fact, between 13 billion and 23 billion dollars in funding will actually reach Ukraine in general and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in particular, in the form of military equipment, equipment and ammunition, from one way or another.
