I figured it must be that, so I checked the blog for the visual confirmation and only 4-5 have distinct serial number or identification marking within the pictures, of the rest, the pictures don't offer much evidence and could have easily been part of the other wreckages, like this one
, which would help inflate numbers and he also counts a Su-34 that allegedly crashed inside Belarus, which is just disingenous and makes it seems like he is just trying rack numbers up with 0 attempt at being rigorous.
And he has done that before, using different picture angles of the same wreck to claim they are different vehicle losses.
EDIT:
Checked the Su-30SM losses one, he includes one that burned on the ground due to an engine fire, but labels it with an ambigous "destroyed on the ground".
![Roll Eyes  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Of the rest, only two wreckage pictures, of which one only one is identifiable as a Flanker, the other are just pictures of portraits of pilots allegedly killed in Ukraine with no evidence of the aircrafts.
So, "visual confirmation" in some of these cases seems kind of a stretch.
