Nice souvenir tbh. Also those getting the detached booster of Pantsyr.

Also Ukraine apparently claim to shoot down A-50 and Il-22 aircraft above sea of Azov. But the Il-22 landed

our Ukrainian tank expert friend Andrei Tarasenko tho, think it's friendly fire. Now waiting for further news.

It is concerning but Something which i expect from last year as deployement of low RCS cruise missile is more prevalent (I expected JASSM but Storm Shadow is kinda representative)

Obviously this Ukrainian Strela-10 failed to take out the Orlan UAV tracking it and gets Krasnopoled.

Ukrainian ammo depot gets destroyed by Tornado-S in the Avdiivka - Donetsk region. To tell you the truth, Iskander and Tornado S strikes look alike, it's easy for bloggers to confuse the two and I myself can't tell them apart either.

In the takeout of a Ukrainian AD system by Lancet in Kherson, the ZALA Supercam is flying right above the system on its dead zone. AD systems have poor luck taking out a Lancet which came next.

No surprise here. Once again an M777 gets taken out by Lancet this time in Kherson. How many is that now? M777s and Gvozdikas appear to be the most common artillery pieces for the Ukrainians followed by Krabs and Paladins based on Lancet videos.

Pickups are not spared by Lancets either.

Would be indeed a severe blow

I think Ukraine is taking credit for something it didn't do unless it was some SF operation where they placed explosives on aircraft via drone before takeoff. Sea of Azov is very far from the frontlines and very much out of range of PAC-2 GMT unless the US has significantly BS/short change the true range of PAC-2GMT. It could also been a mid-air maybe?

If reports are true of course. :)

Could be bad weather. Severe ice storms have been plaguing the area lately. A50 is a pig with wings, not an easy or safe plane to fly. Ice forming on the wings on a plane that's difficult to balance. Crap happens all the time (see recent B-1B crash) for no reason. See the massive warehouse fire in St. Petersburg over 1km2. No relationship to the war, just crap happens.

Or it doesnt happen.

Like if it was shot down, well parts are bound to be scatter around and floats. then Beached where people could pick or found.

And what will be the excuse for the IL-22M landing with injured crew members asking for an ambulance and first aid on the runway of the civil airport?

The range of the Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T is about 160 km, some say it can reach up to 200 km, the circle of the 160 km range is this:
21.JPG
The red circle is where the A-50 was apparently shot down and the blue circle is where the IL-22M was before it was attacked. Consider that to do this, Ukraine would have to move the Patriot into the front line of the Dnipro area, which would leave the system very exposed, unless the Ukrainians actually did this, this would be considered a great feat by Ukraine.

The range of 200 km:

The Kremlin has no information about the loss of A-50 and Il-22 control aircraft in the NVO zone
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin does not have information that the Ukrainian armed forces shot down two Russian army aircraft - an A-50 and an Il-22. This was announced, in particular, by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

“No, there is no information. Then, after all, this is a topic that concerns the progress of a special military operation,” the press secretary answered the corresponding question. He recommended checking information about the aircraft with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The A-50 is a long-range radar detection and control aircraft developed in 1978. The aircraft is equipped with the Shmel radio system. The aircraft can be used to detect and track air and surface targets, and alert command posts.

Il-22s were produced in the late 1970s. In the 1980s, five modernized Il-22M11s entered service with the Soviet army, which were intended to control troops during a nuclear war. In 2018, the aircraft were modernized and turned into a multi-functional flying command post. From an aircraft, you can control ground, air and space force groups in real time.

Earlier, people's deputies from the ruling Servant of the People party in Ukraine, Alexander Fedienko and Yuri Mysyagin, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down an A-50 plane in the Sea of Azov area, and an Il-22 disappeared from radar after descending in the Kerch area. Later, Valery Zaluzhny stated that the Ukrainian air force shot down two of these planes.
