Maps are the most credible facts, it doesnt give the state of each forces but still, the movement of troops, encirclements, loss of defendable ground is what counts in the end. Losing a couple of open fields doesn't say much,losing a city or high grounds of a region say quite more.None of the 'kill claims' on either side are credible, they are highly dubious, either from the pentagon/uk mod and also this. At this point I think all of it is propaganda just to boost the morale on both sides. The UK MOD also forgot to include themselves and the Ukraine as dishonest reporters:

The identified units on both sides also make the 'kill claims' seem absurd. A rough count can be made of forces on both sides. All those figures are so high that there should be a giant collapse if they were true.

To be honest, the casualties on both sides is minimal. Very small compared to WW1. Like 1% if that. In WW1 they fired hundreds of millions of shells a year. This conflict is nothing like that.
