More information about the Russian strike into a tunnel used by the Ukrainians in Avdiivka, which blocks the route within which is used by various Ukrainian vehicles. It appears the strike weapon is a LMUR and the tunnel opening is on the Avdiivka coke plant.


Ukrainians did not give up Khromove lightly, subjecting the area with counterattacks. However the Russians are already deeply entrenched and have fire power advantage and position. The Russian assault is led by the 11th VDV Brigade.

Do note that both sides are known for putting fakes in airfields so there's always that possibility but the Lancet reach indicates that the airfield is now useless for any meaningful combat use. This airfield has previously seen the destruction of MiG-29s and Su-25s by Lancets.

It has been pointed out that this airfield was 80km's away from the nearest frontline which seems to indicate a massive boost in the Lancet's range

More evidence of women starting to be prepared to be sent to the frontlines

Presumably control of Marinka has finally been gained.

But we are still waiting for confirmation from the soldiers on site.

Wouldn't the range be heavily dependent on wind conditions?
Just saying opportunistic factors may be at play, explaining why there are so few deep strikes.

In theory, Ukraine's manpower losses have not reached the level of embarrassment of recruiting women into the military.
But the reality is that Ukraine has to use police to compensate for military personnel losses and distribute conscription leaflets to the elderly.

We can see that the conscription of Ukrainians is extremely chaotic and unfair. Ukraine has lost its ability to effectively manage its population and has consciously avoided conscription in the western region.

I really can't imagine the future of this country after the war ends, especially with almost no hope of victory.

Sadly, I saw a video where a Ukrainian woman soldier peeked her head out of a dug out. Seconds later an FPV drone drove into her dug out, and boom. Not going to link this video for obvious reasons. Just something you won't get out of your mind easily.

On other matters,

In my previous post, there was a Russian missile attack at Novoprokopovka that resulted in a number of buildings destroyed. Turns out the headquarters and command post of both the 53rd Mechanized Brigade and the 31st Artillery Brigade was located there after they moved out of Avdiivka, and both brigades are facing the Russians at Avdiivka.

An Upyr drone is sent right into this Ukrainian machine gunner's nest.


Leopard 2A4 with Kontakt-1 ERA gets hit by two ATGMs and an FPV drone. It was destroyed. This in the Rabotino area. I think the first hit caused the crew to abandon the tank to its fate.
