I doubt tb2s are used for recon, Ukraine at this point has a multitude of uavs that are far more plentiful compared to a TB2 that can function in a recon role, they are non-stealthy and expensive to be attrited this way. They should only be used for striking targets close to the front, as seen here with the shotdown UAV carrying munition.Given that the manufacturer of TB-2 (Baykar Defence) is owned by the family of Erdogan’s son in-law; it’s probably smart politically for Ukraine to continue buying them. Even if the drone itself has been relegated to a mostly reconnaissance role.
