Shoigu: "According to our information, the amount of water discharged from the Dnipropetrovsk HPP has been noticeably increased, leading to additional flooding. This fact indicates that the Kyiv planned the large-scale sabotage in advance."

Russia has called for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council in connection with the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, as reported by the Russian Permanent Representative to the organization, Vasily Nebenzya, in a statement . Earlier, Ukraine also announced its intention to initiate a UN Security Council meeting due to the destruction of the power station.

There is another video of another MaxxPro destroyed by helis.
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

Unless they didnt want to use SAMs at all and they will use them in the same wave this is suicide, they list how much, a docen MaxxPros to helis in a single day?
Is it just the flat terrain that's making Ka-52 and heavy ATGM with 10km range like Vikhr so deadly?

Croatian 128 mm MLRS RAK-12 (a modified version of the old Yugoslav MLRS M-63 "Plamen") in combat use, which was previously in service with the Ukrainian state border guard service. For shooting, old Yugoslav M63 missiles are used, made by the company PRETIS Vogoša (Sarajevo) in the eighties, the maximum range of which reaches 8.5 km.

This before and after picture does seem to point at an increase of water in the reservoir seeing how everything to the right got overrun by water flow

Last updates by @Rybar, looks like AFU will try to get back Novodonetske:

Vremievsky salient
situation as of 18.00 June 6, 2023

After the liberation of Novodonetske and a few hours of calm, the AFU regrouped and began a new assault on positions in the village. Now four Ukrainian tanks have entered the northern outskirts of Novodonetske from the side of the dam.

From the west, several armored fighting vehicles, most likely Kirpi or MaxxPRO, landed infantry and marked another tank. And in the forest belt in the reserve is a column of armored vehicles.

Now a battle has begun in Novodonetske. Russian units are defending the settlement, and artillerymen are firing at the areas where the AFU Armed Forces are advancing.

Bakhmut direction
situation as of 11.00 June 6, 2023

Ukrainian formations continue to bite into the defensive formations of Russian troops and counterattack on the flanks of Bakhmut.

▪️ Advanced enemy groups entered Berkhovka to the north of Bakhmut, fierce battles are going on for the settlement. Apparently, the AFU broke through the forest belt adjacent to the reservoir, since no loss of control over Zaliznyansky and Dubovo-Vasilevka was reported.

▪️ After advancing in the private sector on the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut, the assault units of the AFU continued to put pressure on the Samolet area. The private sector has become a zone of fierce fighting.

▪️ Some units of the AFU are advancing on Russian positions in Kleshcheevka: units of the Russian special forces have entered into a shooting battle and are holding occupied lines. The task of the AFU is to reach the Zaitsevo-Opytne line.

After the withdrawal of PMC assault groups, the entire burden of defense fell on the regular troops. Using shortcomings in the organization of communication between units and formations of the Russian Armed Forces, Ukrainian formations wedged into the defense and cut off Russian positions piece by piece.
