So how would Ukraine go about blowing up a dam they have no control of? Nothing in their aresnal actually has the oomph to do it in one go from a distance. A dam this large would require multiple tons of explosives.
I heard they used mutliple vilkha mlrs at night to do so.

Russian Telegram channels are reporting that there are a lot of flooded Russian trenches. The destruction of Nova Kakhovka dam provoke the flooding of all the islets of the Dnieper River in its last sector and several localities on both sides, but essentially on the Russian side, where several fortification lines were located.

By combination of artillery strikes and high water lvl. It is just upper part of dam that got damaged and water had made rest of work.
They had even tested such capability.

Kovalchuk considered flooding the river. The Ukrainians, he said, even conducted a test strike with a HIMARS launcher on one of the floodgates at the Nova Kakhovka dam, making three holes in the metal to see if the Dnieper’s water could be raised enough to stymie Russian crossings but not flood nearby villages.
The test was a success, Kovalchuk said, but the step remained a last resort. He held off.

Really? And already Russians confirming it is surely propaganda?

How are we sure this is a "Russian" soldier?!

Here's another Ukrainian fake that was debunked yesterday. It turned out that this "sad Russian border" was actually a Ukrainian actor.

This video is a fake made by "Ukrainian Hollywood" somewhere safe in Ukraine, all the information about his unit doesn't add up. Colonel Vasily Kolchin, about whom the speaker speaks, ceased to be the commander of the 138th brigade back in 2021. Now it is headed by Sergei Maksimov. Also the "sad Russian border" speaks Russian with the typical Ukrainian dialect.

The second video in the Tweet:
