The War in the Ukraine

So it actually happened.

There has been a noticeable increase in background radiation in Khmelnitsky, were the big explosion was located.
It is likely that the munitions depot contained British depleted uranium munitions and these materials evaporated into the Ukrainian air with the explosion.

I wouldn't trust any data coming out of the Ukraine. If that's real it'll be shut down pretty quickly.

Seismic data has been manipulated since the war started, and since July last year even NASA FIRMS started hiding data around the frontlines.

As I reported before, ammo, fuel, or vehicular depot or repair center or all of them in Ternopol got hit this time by Iskander missile. This is a separate event from Khmelnitsky.

Something burning hard. I think it's fuel, lots of it.

Khmelnitsky showing lots of black smoke, indicating fuel and lubricant stores being hit.

Something was hit in Kharkhiv too.

Wagner not running out of incendiaries being dropped on the remaining strongholds in Bakhmut.

Remains of a Ukrainian T-64BV.

Destruction of a Ukrainian Kraz, which is a transporter or truck, this time by a KUB kamekaze drone. A KUB fundamentally doesn't work like a Lancet, being a GPS assigned drone, and so it acts more like a mini-Geran. The truck was likely discovered and destruction recorded by an Orlan 10 drone.

I suspect the Kraz to be a 2S22 Bohdana, which is a NATO 155mm howitzer SPG using a Kraz transporter. If you never heard of this before, these few units only came into service in 2023. If this was indeed a Bodhana, this is a rare kill using an uncommon means.

Really ? that's unfortunate then.

Been trying to estimate the yield. The Seismic data indicates some 3.4 Richter scale magnitude of "Earthquake" . This gave me estimate yield of 20-135 Metric tonne of explosion.

With everything that is going on with Prigozhin when it comes to throwing Russian generals under the buss publicly and publicly disclosing Russian retreats now all of a sudden this comes out.

Whether Prigo was sincere or it was a feint by him looks like the west is using this opportunity to drive a bigger wedge between Prigo and MOD.

The thing is that they were also using robots (there is videos of this) to put down the fires in the location where the explosion happened which is weird ...

Well hazardous material are there.

Just saw a tweet dismissing the strike as non consequential claiming that Russians just attacked old munitions depot and everything there is not new anymore.

Pretty sure the way the two strikes burned long afterwards reeks of fuel and lubricant storage.

For other news, we got an obtf Kaskad production showing 9 kills or hits via Lancet. Not all are recent footage however. The first attack is new and particularly brutal with the Lancet guided towards not the truck but it's crew.

Beautiful but brutal. Incendiary fire falls on the remaining Ukrainian strongholds in Bakhmut. I have deep mixed feelings about the use of this weapon if you know exactly what it does.

A Krab SPG hidden in a shelter gets a direct hit from artillery.

Latest traffic situation report on the Road of Death. More dead vehicles but the road is dry and this is enabling the Ukrainians to execute their counterattack. The bad side is that with a clear weather, so are Russian drones hunting for targets.
