Production of the drone has increased, due to the demand. Lately Putin has visited the Zala plant and promised that the production will be scaled further.

In addition to the -1, -3, and -3M, there appears to be new variants, the Lancet 5 and Lancet 10. I suppose these are bigger drones with longer range.

And? They're from the same era as the T-62. I hate to tell you, but there isn't a significant difference between the two tanks. Especially relative to modern weapons.

You mean besides the +10 year gap between the T-54 and T-62, with the T-62 being the first tank to introduce a smoothbore gun and APFSDS requiring a longer hull, larger turret ring to be able to handle the gun, new torsion bar arrangement, the cartridge ejection system, and so on?.

I mean, there is a reason why T-55 stayed in production at the same time than the T-62, which wouldn't be the case if the T-62 had been all that similar to the T-55.

That's not going to make any real difference if they're up against an ATGM or any MBT that fires modern/semi-modern projectiles. Nor is the firepower difference between a T-54 or T-62 going to make a serious difference in how these platforms are employed.

The biggest issue with the T-54 vs T-62, is that they require different ammunition, which complicates logistics.

Sure, but these differences no longer matter. It's 2023 and for all intents and purposes, these two tanks are going to have similar combat value.

Russians capture Novobakhmutivka and more chunks north of Avdiivka. Northern pincer here increasing in size. Russians blocked at Stepove for now. To prevent the Russians from reaching Orlovka, Ukrainians sent reserves in.

I wonder why all Western couch experts believe that the tanks are over and the losses there are 1000-3000 tanks, do you yourself believe in this? But who do I ask, you clearly believe and see the truth in this, but Russia has no losses of 1000 tanks ... this is nonsense!

Hmm. I thought Russia would eventually/temporarily take Bakhmut before the Ukraine late spring offensive but now I'm starting to think that is not going to happen. The way Boss Wagner is talking I'm surprised he hasn't been "silenced."
