The War in the Ukraine

Massed armour offensives without air support get annihilated by artillery and air strikes. No surprise there. We don't know how old this footage is. I know a lot of Ukrainian advances like this happened at the start of the war, it would be dumb if Ukrainians were still trying.

Stay behind your human shields Ukros. It's the only option you have.
Things are starting to move with the mud drying. Moving in the open will be costly for Ukraine and Russian in range of artillery. Air strikes will make the difference for Russian troops.

And? Brimstone is a ASM that for some reason has been transformed into a surface to surface missile. Converting it from an aerial platform to a ground based one defeats the whole purpose of it, what a colossal waste of money.

It has a 5kg warhead, not much in a war where 500kg warhead missiles are raining on Ukraine daily. It's basically a radar guided javelin missile with slightly longer range (10 miles) still pitifully shorter than any SRBM.

Seriously you NATO worshippers need a reality check. America could sh&t on a stick and you would worship it as a wonder weapon.

Well to be fair Brimestone, just like Hellfire are versatile weapon. It's not necessarily waste of money tho. The concern is of course how Russians will respond. Suppressing mobile launchers are difficult. They'll gonna have to rely more on UAV's to find the launcher and then use artillery or air support to harass or destroy it.

I just realized they used unmarked civilians vehicles for the Brimstone launchers. Gonna do wonders for the actual civilians out there.

Ugly. Especially if they went for Sweden approach with Rb-17.

They did get Excalibur

Can they even make use of it if the guns don't have their digital targeting computers fitted, as it seems to be the case?.

Also the article mentions says "Canada has sent four M777 Howitzers and ammunition to Ukraine.". That ain't going to change the tide of war any time soon, though.

Wouldn't want to perform armored assaults when Brimstones are around and eastern part of the country with vast open spaces is perfect place for deploying such weapons.

Far worse weapons from tankers perspective than artillery or atgm's.
Brimstone warhead: 6.3kg
Brimstone range: unknown, but less than the air launched 12km
Javelin warhead 8.4kg
Javelin range: 2.5km

Explain how brimstone is more dangerous than an ATGM.
