an article with 3D views, excellent Magazine in each a vessel is shown in 3D views.

...

Ami FORBIN, was the article related to

maybe?

by the way in your link I noticed the headline
Autriche-Hongrie / 1940 - 1943
which would have the dates clearly wrong :) irrespective if they referred to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and/or to the Viribus Unitis

...

I'll try to show the secondary armament now ...

...

Lighter guns, which I'll describe next, could shoot once they thought they should :)

...

the picture above shows numerous "7 cm" (actually 66 mm) TAGs :)
(TAG as in Torpedo-Abwehr Geschütze, anti-torpedo-boat gun)
originally 18 were mounted, some of them later swapped for BAGs :)
(BAG as in Ballon-Abwehr Geschütze, anti-balloon gun LOL which actually was a high-tech anti-aircraft weapon at that time, with the elevation up to 90 degrees! and, quoting Noppen now, their "shells gave off a trail of smoke when fired, an early form of tracer ammunition"
both variants are described in

(they can be quickly distinguished, like in pictures which don't show many details, by the seat for an operator: just for the AA gun)

The torpedo-tube will be next (yes, there were four of them), followed by the turbine ... but my holidays end tomorrow :-( so I'm not sure when I'll post

oh and Jeff, I apologize for creating a new thread yesterday for the same ship; the reason was the pictures I have for parts other than the turret(s) are not that detailed, but this is not a valid reason to establish a new thread, of course :)

That's from Combrig models and it is not a plastic injected modled kit. It is a resin kit, which includes a lot of photo etch metal, brass, and other parts, which is why it costs more.

Here's another link from an outlet I use pretty often, Freetime Hobbies:

Here's some pictures of the various details of the model:

thanks Jeff for the words of encouragement ... since I see some interest here, later I'll show several more parts of this ship -- in addition to the description of how the main battery guns operated, which I hope to finish this afternoon

I recently watched the whole "Battleship" movie, aliens and all, but anyway, maybe it was AC/DC that has me enthralled, yes I love the music on those kool fighter videos as well, but anyway I was quite taken with the ships, arleigh burks as well.

great to see so many people on board of the Viribus Unitis! :)

more details will be coming, thanks to
Виноградов С. Е.
and his terrific brochure
Линкоры типа "Вирибус Унитис"
seems he's summarized previous books/articles in German/English including those by Friedrich Prasky who's also (re?)drawn the 1:100 charts:
index.php

(but I don't have them; in that museum in Vienna I purchased the 1:200 plan though)
