The Boxer Rebellion 1900-01

Well that's what happens when people want to cover up colonialism and human rights violation with saving civilian lives. I'll throw in Grenada. Remember that one? Same excuse in saving their civilians but actually it was to stop the "who needs a ten thousand foot runway" they say were for the Soviets. If you think about it saving civilians is the number one excuse for everything.

Come to think about it this all begun in with the dicussion of the Libyan situation in another thread where the notorious suspects lyingly accused that China was supporting Khaddafi against the rebels. Then someone digressed and brought in the Boxer Rebellion. Why? I don't know except maybe to show an example of Chinese sympathy for Khaddafi where the West had the right to intervene because civilian lives were threatened which was said was the only reason why the West sent in forces into China to stop the rebellion against their colonialist rule violating their own democratic principles and fundamental human rights. Then the discussion was moved to this thread.

It's really not a surprising situation.
It's a well documented phenomenon that weaker members of people facing discrimination or persecution, whether they are racial/religious minorities or just kids being bullied at schools, who don't have the courage to speak out against their tormentors, choose instead to perpetrate the same discrimination against his own group, or at least try to rationalize the discrimination they suffer, in the hope gaining acceptance by his tormentors.
In WW2, you have many Jews fighting and dying courageously against the Nazi while some other help the Nazi to round up their own people in the hope of staying alive.

bladerunner may have suffered some discrimination in NZ himself, not surprising if you consider the history of the country, it's likely he's at least blaming some of it on his own ethnicity.

And now the guy is a psyho analyst wanabe.but not proving to be a very good one at that. BYe the way theres a sizeable portion of the population/ millions in taiwan even that are critical of China Were they tormented in thev playground by European Bullies?LOL

Anyway explain that theory you've come up with to the authorities who have authorised the detaintment of An Wei Wei.Thank goodness for him and the likes of Fudan professor Ge Jianxiong, who wrote an article that Tibet was never always part of China. Thank goodness there is millions of CHinese around the world that are sucked in by China's charade.

Youre welcome to downplay the incident, however the history books refer to it as a genocide.

By the way I attended a junior cricket game championship towards the end of summer. I heard the little 10 year olds gloating over their winning teams performance, refering to it as a "owning" and massacre of the opposition.

No problem, that was just my view. Only you would know for sure if what I said is applicable to you and I never expected you to openly admit to it anyway even if it's true.
