I am not so sure. Like rats when you see one, there's a nest of them nearby. While I don't normally wish death upon people: it is a good thing that the police nailed those two. People in France must feel somewhat relieved now.

I don't know whether this is true or not, when I was listening to my local radio station about the Paris attack a caller claimed that these Muslim fanatics believe that they will not enter paradise if they were to be killed by a women opponent in battle. So perhaps we should respond by training a corps of women to counter the terroristsLook like this is just a start and more such attacks will come.
That is a stunning video. The cameraman had a direct line into the store as the raid began, and you can actually see the hostage taker charge the police with a gun then get shot to pieces. I can imagine the tension and fear of the front line police, hostage taker, and hostages as they saw the metal door slowly rise, knowing that a firefight would erupt within seconds. I'm surprised the hostage taker left the lights on.

- if this standoff had happened in the Czech Republic, the freed hostages first would've been detained and searched (to make sure they're unrelated to the hostage taker(s)) ... that's what he said while commenting on the inexplicable disappearance of the female perpetrator from the store in Paris
