Those irritations are not enough for them to declare war with China.They already anger China by:
Having trade offices with Taiwan, which are de-facto embassies
Allowing visits to Taiwan by their legislators and vice versa
Selling or offering weapons to Taiwan
Making trade negotiations with Taiwan
Criticising China over its lack of human rights
Criticising China over its military build-up
Refusing to lift arms embargoes on it
etc.

Again, lack of understanding of the situation in Taiwan. Both KMT & DPP have chosen presidential candidates advocating closer ties to PRC so the direction Taiwan is choosing is at least opposite to Chen's & what u wish.
