Mystery solved -- the exercise was arranged by CCP spies. If we apply the logic of some fanboys this must totally mean that F-16V is junk and not that the decision is politically motivated or that the aircraft wasn’t properly handled. Four 4.5th gen creamed by four legacy Mirages, just because they simulate PLAAF planes lol.

In that case, why should the ROCAF even bother with F-16Vs ?If we apply the logic of some fanboys this must totally mean that F-16V is junk and not that the decision is politically motivated or that the aircraft wasn’t properly handled. They should just get Hongdu L-15s instead to replace their legacy Mirages. I mean, they already got their Wunderwaffe Hsiung Feng 3 components sent to China for repairs.
That you need to ask Uncle Sam, because the US won't sell F-35A/B/C.In that case, why should the ROCAF even bother with F-16Vs ?

According to Yankee and Shilao, F-16V was playing the role of OPFOR, most likely acting the part of J-10A (with corresponding restriction on abilities according what ROCAF think J-10A is like). Naturally Mirage 2000-5 is better than J-10A.If we apply the logic of some fanboys this must totally mean that F-16V is junk and not that the decision is politically motivated or that the aircraft wasn’t properly handled. Shilao and co had a hilarious time trying to come up with combinations for ROCAF to simulate various PLAAF aircraft. One of the more fun one was four F-CK-1 flying in close formation could simulate the weapon load of a single JH-7.So they can achieve a four:1 victory against a mid-tier PLAAF plane that probably won’t even see action during the actual conflict. Yay I guess? Why don’t they use their spanking new F-16V to simulate J-8 or J-7? I bet they can get 30:1 kill ratio if they do.
Probably acting as JH-7, realistically speaking. Even if you push the F-16 to its full extent, I doubt it can match a J-10 which has a more powerful engine and has canards on top of that, as well as a radar stronger than anything that ROCAF has in the air.According to Yankee and Shilao, F-16V was playing the role of OPFOR, most likely acting the part of J-10A (with corresponding restriction on abilities according what ROCAF think J-10A is like).
