Powdered aluminum is highly flammable and tricky to handle. You could literally melt steel when powdered aluminum burns.

It's easy to forget how dangerous this sort of work can be. Many people will just assume with modern technology nothing should go wrong. People working in these sorts of jobs risk serious injury or even death - they have my admiration.

Accidents do happen, but I'm glad to hear that no one died - I wish everyone involved a speedy recovery. I'm sure they've all been working very hard to keep Taiwan's air defences running in the face of continued Chinese aggression.
Based on this analogy, can we deduct that NATO's SIGINT,ELINT, ship sorties closer to Russian waters are forms of aggression?

Not really, because as you mention they're quite clearly there for surveillance. No one is suggesting China should not conduct surveillance on Taiwan. However, flying fighters and bombers towards Taiwanese airspace and over the median line is completely different to NATO's defence posture in Europe.

I mean, I could be wrong, but has NATO recently and repeatedly flown bombers around all of Russia, or flown fighters towards Russian airspace only to break off at the last second?

Medium line is not Taiwan "airspace", for one.

That said I would agree that yes, PLA is conducting aggressive operations against Taiwan. After all from their perspective they are conducting aggressive probing against armed separatism in the same manner as they would against the Wang Jingwei regime.

Taiwan is part of China.

China has the right to fly in its own airspace.

The West thinks China has encroached upon Taiwan's airspace, but they do not actually recognize Taiwan as a country.

Hypocrisy and double standards
Fact: during the Liberation of China by CCP, KMT fled to Isle of Taiwan. CCP has plans to liberate it then Korean war happened.

On the current state of Taiwan, whether it should be recognized as a country etc. Well.. no comment.

Russia did intercept B1B around Bering sea since Sept. Frequencies lower than PLAF/N sorties? sure.
