All paths to Syria are through countries with American military bases or NATO members.

Thus there is no realistic way for Chinese troops to reach Syria to intervene, even if it were a good idea.
There are two paths:

1. Through Russia
2. By sea

1. Aircraft could use Russia as a route to Syria
The Russians would have no reason to refuse Chinese aid, just as Assad would have no reason to refuse Chinese aid. Allowing China to fly over the country to reach Syria would be a path worth considering

2. Warships and support vessels sent could use the base in Djibouti as a transit point to reach Syria
The Chinese military inflection point would now be able to reach the Mediterranean (access to naval bases in Syria) while maintaining the military base in Djibouti as a support point

A quick reminder to those here to not believe everything you read, particularly information with suspect origins.

We can expect the usual information warfare to accompany the Syrian rebels’ offensive. Fear, uncertainty, doubt. Already it’s saturating the bandwidths with the talk of massive SAA collapse etc.

are they going to shoot down Chinese aircraft in Afghan, Pakistani, Iranian and Iraqi airspace?

if yes, they will soon have much bigger things to worry about.

if no, then it doesn't matter.

The regime preparing to send youngsters to die:

Picking up trash is a crime is Assads Syria:

"Welcome! Thank you. Why were you in jail?
- I was picking up trash but they said it belonged to the state.
The trash is state property? May Allah curse your soul Hafez. So you’ve been in jail for a year because you were picking up trash?
- Yes.
What about you?
- Me too, the same thing. I was there for 6 months.
Wow 6 months.
- I was caught after him.
And that pig says you committed a crime?
- Yes.
Alhamdulillah you are now in peace.”

The opposition forces in the south are organizing and resisting:

A new force called “Southern Syria Operations” declares a state of emergency, and confirms following in the footsteps of the Aggression Deterrence and Freedom Dawn Forces. The main goal of the force is to control the provinces of Sweida and Daraa, amid intensive preparations and military movements in the region.

China is not going to intervene in Syria, don't be silly. The only significant interest China even has in this conflict is the TIP problem, and that is best addressed by strengthening the Xinjiang border and preventing unauthorized entries in the first place like I mentioned previously.

I think some UCAV aid to the government could be a good idea though.
