Howcome soccer fans like to riot? I saw some French hooligans rioting in Paris this morning on the French news...I also saw some British and German fans going at it the other day. Sad..at least in the USA people wait until the championship game is over before they riot....

In fairness to the French those rioting appeared to be the same folks that were rioting a few months ago..

Hey when the World Cup was in the US in '94 or in Japan and S.Korea in 2002 why didn't the soccer hooligans make an appearance? I know why ..the cops in the US shoot people with real bullets not rubber bullets(Although most US police forces have a more humane approach to crowd control in the last few years) The distance the hooligans had to travel to the US, Japan/S.Korea prevented many from attending..If I were a hooligan the last place I would want to tangle with the cops is S. Korea. Them fellas don't play no games and are very proficent in cracking heads.......

you will know if you ever lived in England. I lived in Manchester for 2 and a half year. It seems like 85% of my neighbours were jobless. Other than drinking and causing trouble, there didn't seem to be anything they were capable of. And when they get bored, they start to burn buildings. The reason for hooligan in Europe? People seemed to have accepted it by now.

As for France vs Brazil, I think I was the only person in the world to predict 1-0 for France. But then again, I also predicted England to win 1-0 against Portugal. That obviously didn't happen.

Dammit...Germany just lost to Italy. iwas hoping the germans would win, especially with all thse fans. i cant believe both of italy's goals were scored in the last three minutes!!!

man, what a great game. Since Italy is my co-favourite team in this tournament, I was just out of my mind when Grosso scored the goal. Oh geez, it's a good thing I live in a detached house or half of my neigbhours would be complaining of all my yelling and screaming after those 2 goals.

the germans were playing great untilthe very end, and i guess thats when Lehman got tired and couldnt hold off the italians much longer.

Oh well time to root for the underdogs.. even though Germany is going to win it

Nah, it was a horrible game compared to the one between Italy and Germany. France got lucky. That shouldn't have been a penalty.
