Manchester United slumped to a third consecutive loss for the first time in 13 years when Sunderland added to manager David Moyes' troubles by winning the first leg of their League Cup semifinal 2-1 Tuesday ngiht.

The setback against the Premier League's last-place team completed a hat trick of 2-1 losses at the start of 2014 for Moyes, in his first season as Alex Ferguson's successor.

It's the percentage of times when a player is at bat he gets a "hit". a .300 average is considered excellent.

Yes, as popeye says, it's the percentage of hits he gets when at bat.

For example, if her goes to bat 100 times and gets a hit 30 of those times, then his batting average is going to be .300 as popeye said.

The higher the batting average, the better a player is in the offensive part of the game...and they pay very, very well for any major league batter who can maintain a batting average over .300.

I don't its wishful thinking on my part when I say that United have been there before , and they will bounce back. I dont favour any team in the league and I watch English Premier League because I consider it to be the best.

The EPL is the most popular league in the world, but two of Europe's most popular futball teams are in Spain La Liga which are Barcelona and Real Madrid. Although I will add in the Bundesleague (Germany) Bayern Munich as one the popular one as well.

While I cant disagree with what you say about Barcelona and Real Madrid with Bayern Munich thrown in , this poll site suggest otherwise to which league is the most popular overall

Now who was that American high Court judge who said he always reads the sports section rather than the Politics and world News Section of the daily newspapers , because he rather read about mans achievements rather than failures. (something like that anyway)


You want to watch twenty twenty cricket it attracts big money. Each cricketing nation has their own 20/20 competition and each countries winner competes in the Champions League competition in India. Along side that there is also the Indian IPL League and The Australian Big bash competition.

I find it more entertaining than baseball when it comes to watching bat and ball games, but that doesn't mean to say I don't enjoy baseball.

but What if the hits don't achieve anything for instance he's caught? does the hit still count.?
