Relying only on rockets and Capsules is short sighted.

I truly on day there will a revolutionary change in the engine that enable a space plane directly going earth and exit the earth atmosphere without the rockets.

Anti-gravity engine.. I don't know what that is.... but I believe something is out there.

There is a distinction between "far-sighted" and "head in the cloud".

But you gotta have dreams and ambition to see through with the current reality to see what works and what doesn't.

What guide do you have in determining what works and what doesn't other than current reality?

To imagine one can see more clearly through levitated vision not firmly rooted in current reality is madness.

Depends on one's knowledge in math and science, trial and error is good indication of measurements, plus cost too.:p

Ask yourself this question.

So you think rocket is the ONLY way now and in future for human to get out of the earth atmosphere?

Well in history, for long long time people firmly believed the earth is flat. At that time, if someone says the earth is round, then that someone must be crazy. So, what's totally crazy idea in a period of time may very well be reality in another period.

there's something out there you just don't know yet.

One could build a maglev type drive on moon to sling containers back to earth powered by a small nuclear reactor, as the moon has no atmosphere and a low gravity.

That was my thinking to. Although it might not require a nuclear power supply, solar panels and hydrogen 3 might offer the potential power needed.

So? Just because there is an infinite number of things I don't know, therefore I can not dismiss ideas from cloud cuckoo land as being unworthiness of being listened to for its unlikelihood of being true?

The fact that there are an infinite amount of unknown out there does not mean therefore most cloud cuckoo idea has any enough chance of being right to be worth the spittle needed to speak it. There is infinite, and there is infinite.

Take for example the infinite number of real numbers as analogy for the number of cloud cuckoo ideals that can be concocted. Use the infinite number of integers as analogy for the number of ideas that corresponds to what could work in the real universe. Both are infinite, yet the latter is a infinitesimal subset of the former. The chance of any arbitrary real number selected from the infinite set of real numbers happen to be one of an infinite number of integers is nonetheless effectively zero.

China missed out on first-mover advantage in exploring (and colonizing) the New World.

China should not miss this opportunity to seize the world's first colonial outpost in Outer Space.

There is no point to land Chinese Taikonauts on the lunar surface without a permanent lunar base to back it up. Otherwise, China would be merely imitating what U.S. did in the 1960's and 70's. China should also be the first to militarize space, and put U.S. further into debt if she wants to compete against China into space.
