If SAC does end up unveiling yet another airframe - presumably a much bigger one this time - the aviation community just might undergo a collective aneurism. I wonder if this notional "large SAC fighter" is a competitor to the J-36 or something that occupies yet another untouched niche.

Their opsec is better too(guess waiting with Shenyang is just colder, lol), hard to analyze current photos.
Chengdu bird was shot in reasonable details. I for once is way more interested in SAC one, because it's hard to tell anything but basics about it now.

And it's a damn important bird, 2 ws-15 sounds like potential flanker replacement. Which is huge between plaaf and planaf.
