Translation for the Weibo post:
There will not be a bid for (the Chinese) sixth generation fighters. Both of them have completely different designated roles while complimenting each other. CAC’s sixth generation prototype is a triple powerplant (designed for) “long range combat”, emphasizing on high stealth, large combat range, high speed and high munition carrying capacity. SAC’s sixth generation prototype is a dual powerplant (designed for) “sea-air twinning (probably has a carrier-based version?)”, emphasizing on stealth, supermaneuvrability, large combat range, high AAM carrying capacity. CAC’s prototype is around 26 meters long, (while) SAC’s prototype is around 21 meters long!
Thanks for the translation; I guess another clue that favors the complement theory is the rumor that the J-36 will have side-by-side cockpits (i.e. definitely a strike aircraft rather than air superiority fighter). Is this individual credible or privy to information that the general public isn't?

Finally got aproval by our moderater!I’ve been eager to join the conversation for the last 10 days!

CAD just said technically SAC flew the first 6gen in the world.
And,in a set of tea utensils, there is a teapot and some cups. Now the cups are ready, teapot is coming.

Welcome to the forum.

Who is CAD? And why not mention the CAC airframe? Does it imply that the J-36 is not a true "fighter" in the traditional sense of the word?

He seems to be implying that the SAC 6th gen prototype that flew is the loyal wingman UCAV to another fighter, and that main fighter hasn't been shown yet?

Thanks!

He is probably the first to reveal 3engines design on the internet with this picture.

According to him CAC and SAC designs are both fighters with different emphasis.
And I think he just implied that, there is a third design with even bigger role with the analogy of tea set.

Very interesting.

If SAC does end up unveiling yet another airframe - presumably a much bigger one this time - the aviation community just might undergo a collective aneurism. I wonder if this notional "large SAC fighter" is a competitor to the J-36 or something that occupies yet another untouched niche.
