Shenyang next gen combat aircraft thread

I saw the SAC 6-gen flew really really close above my head, TODAY!!!

I was too stunlocked by the overall gorgeousness of the plane that I didn't even pay attention to the details of the plane, even though I should. But there are at least two things I can get away from this experience:

1. The underside of this plane is absolutely gorgeous!!!
2. Aesthetically speaking, the cleavage is not pronounced enough to ruin the beauty of that plane. (Cause it was really close to me)

If there is a next time, I would definitely look REAL DEEP~~ into that cleavage! Hope it wouldn't ruin it for me:p.
so it still has a groove ._.

IT'S JOEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at least tell me that the groove doesn't have 2 sharp edges that ruin RCS and is instead somewhat rounded

I think my phrasing caused some misunderstanding.

1. I didn't actually pay attention to the groove(cleavage), because I was too fascinated by the futuristic and stunning overall configuration.
2. Since the supposed groove(cleavage) didn't catch my attention, that means even if the groove exists, the groove isn't pronounced enough to make the belly ugly.
3. That's why I want to pay extra attention to the groove next time to make absolutely certain of the existence and aesthetics of the groove.

Based on all the non-first-hand information that I see online, my personal assumption is that there exists a groove, and therefore my curiosity of the cleavage.

Belly looks amazing!

Hope this clears up the confusion:D.

from Shenyang on a certain nose design. This was mentioned previously, but the document itself was not posted.

I'm a bajillion percent sure this nose model has nothing to do with the SAC-6 aircraft, instead it could possibly be for a high altitude, high speed speed aircraft.

I believe we both (and the author) understand that the true configuration and specifications of sixth-generation fighter aircraft would not be disclosed in publicly available papers.

However, the nose cross-sectional shape described in the paper shows remarkable similarity to observed photographs - particularly the ventral section featuring a semi-circular streamlined profile rather than the polygonal shapes seen in J-20 and J-36 designs.

(So he use this theasis as refrence to show us) This configuration forms what the authors describe as the front conical segment of the Biconical Bump Compression Surface, constituting the forward portion of the dual-cone structure.
