This is getting surreal, it is like a celebrity in town and all the paparazzi trying to get a piece of it. There is no way in hell this is NOT part of a publicity stunt (Not saying it is not real).

You can't possibly hide an odd-sized cargo such as this anyway, while transit during night-time would ease a lot on the traffic management, given the realities on Chinese roads - bad drivers, poorly lit roads - daytime transit would still be a necessity.

I am pretty sure there is another way, for example, take off the 2 wings, transport everything in BIG trucker containers and reassemble them at the end destination. Pretty sure this is well within China's ability.

Not everything assembled can be disassembled without permanent damage. e.g. the tension engine header torque bolts will permanently deform if it is torqued to spec. If you decide to remove it after, then you need to reassemble it with a new set of torque bolts.

This is before considering the fact that for airplanes, most of your control wires, sensor wires have to be point to point and cannot be spliced - e.g. if a wing have a sensor, you cannot just cut the wing off, re attach it later, you will need to rerun the wires.

Like I said, if they REALLY want it to, they can do it, transport the machinery and personnel to the destination location, and have them work on reattach the wings.

I have nothing against them doing it the way they are doing it, but I also believe the way they are making no secret to hide it is part of the plan.

Did you missed the pictures of F35 and F22 being transported with wings attached? If it's part of the plan why even bother shutting down entire sections of the expressway, or using camouflage tarp to disguise its external features? I don't think there is any plan to intentionally leak it to the public, but on the other hand I don't think it's top priority to hide its existence, after all once flight tests start it'll be hard to contain due to SAC's urban location.

I just don't like the F-60 design; aerodynamically, it looks as though even the J-10 could beat it, and on a stealth basis, it doesn't look particularly stealthy, given the flat delta wing configuration; no trapezoidal wings, no faceted wing rear; even the DSI looks dubious. The aircraft is also particularly small, suggesting that it has poor range and weapons load.

Yes, the aircraft is probably intended to be a cheap stealth fighter, but how much is traded off for cheap?

The best condemnation of the plane is that it's a parody of the F-35 stealth fighter. It achieves the F-35's goals by not pretending to care about maneuverability, stealth, or payload.

Still on par with F-35 and probably 1/5 the cost.
