So how many prototypes of J-31 is there, one or two

We have two for J-20 possibly three

That's 5 stealth aircraft 5th generation in two forms, so China has two stealth aircraft programmes, hmmm I can expect much pressure for a re-start of F22 Raptor programme

Even 5 years ago F22 pilots were training for the hardest battle to be from the French Rafale, a Chinese stealth aircraft wasn't even part of the agenda, these aircraft have caused much panic in the ranks of many airforces

I remember every air force magazine at the time of J-20 surfacing was filled with news of the first test flight!

I'm not sure about the J-20 but I'm sure they took into consideration the development of the PAKFA/T-50 which is far better known and definitely in the cross hairs of the USAF as a potential future adversary even as far back in the mid-late 2000s.

Yes you are right I actually forgot to say that they did train not for T-50 but against the Su-47 Berkut, I think the Raptor pilots aimed for a 3:1 kill ratio or higher, that is actually very low for Raptor believe it or not, kill ratio of double figures is not uncommmon for F22 Raptor pilots

Will Pakistan be interested in such a fighter? I don't think J-20 will be available for export, and India will get her 5th gen from Russia in a few years and it could really draw a difference between the air force of the two nations.

Then again if Pak shown interest in stealth fighter they would probably want to input opinion right from the start and designed it according to their own requirements.
