Are my eyes playing tricks on me? The engines don't look like they are "aligned" or fixed, almost like it has 3D thrust vectoring.
I am pretty sure that is just distortion caused by hot air emitting from the nozzles.
But the whole nozzle is being bent down, such that you can see the whole top surface. Can atmospheric heat distortion do that?

The right nozzle is probably not bent down, but simply narrowed. The distortion comes from the hot exhaust as the engine is put to high power. Seen this many times on J-20 video.
This picture is most probably taken when the right engine nozzle was narrowed first, the left nozzle will narrowed later. Not to be mistaken as TVC.
I guess the exciting part is that if this picture is recent, then J-31 test flight has started again. Hope to get new pictures of J-31 soon.
