Why no more pictures are out yet ?

Is it real " spotters " taking those shots or are these actually "controlled leaks" from officials ?

LOL at the missile dimensions. If this is right, the short range missile is just as big as your average manpad. Not to mention the SD-10/PL-12 which are waaaaay too small. And dont let me start on those ASM's... This is a bad CGI.

Putting weapons under pylons on a strealth plane isn't far fetched. The f-35 and the f-22 have this capability. When there is no need for stealth, you can put more weapons on a plane and be more efficient.

It's a nice plane, les rugged than the J-20.

"天啊。你们是不是要挑战我们啊!?" means "gosh. r u going to challenge us?"

Hehe, I know what the Chinese means, I was just trying to figuer out what the English means... Sweetman's oginial words, translated literally, probably would be like "...你们不能(把这一切)变成一个挑战吗?” which could mean "你们就不能让我们更头疼吗?“ or oppositely ”你们就不能改变一下这老一套吗?“... Or something else I missed.

North Korea probably don't need stealth fighters at the moment. I maybe wrong but it will be a waste of precious resources for them when money can used for more effective weapons or to improve the conditions of their military. I also agree SEA nations are unlikely to buy the j31 due to the recent tensions and also political factors. But it is still too early stage to discuss this. As we don't even know what the primary role is for this plane and final cost. Also is it a carrier based plane?

these close ups tell me the plane has either two weapon bays that are right next to each other, like f22, or it has one single weapon bay. Weapon bay doors also seem to be similar to ones on f22 and j20 - each door seems to have a larger part on the outer side of the belly, and a smaller, hinged part that covers the section that's near to the centreline. That smaller part is supported by a rod of some sort that folds the door around the hinge, as needed.

Unlikely to be a carrier based plane since it has no tailhook. The Bill Sweetman article is very interesting that its says that the J-31 is a F-35 based plane without the compromises that the F-35 intails. Because there is no need for VSTOL that means it can have two engines and free up a lot of internal space inside the plane. So the engineers of the J-31 don't have to bend over backwards to fit the weapons bay into the plane and get all the much more complex and integral systems to work together like on the F-35. It has a much more straight forward internal arrangement compared to the F-35 and it probably also lessens the weight of the plane.
