you are right, those drones are meant for assessment of effects on target, launched roughly the same time and likely a higher trajectory to assess impact on target.I think they showed some tube launched loitering attack drones, but I don’t think it was meant to guide a battery.
I could be wrong, but logically speaking, it doesn’t make sense to me. You’d have to launch the drone by firing, then you’d have to wait for the operator to provide coordinates to the command post before conducting a fire mission. All the while you have possibly revealed yourself to counter battery locating device from firing.
I read this is what they did with DF-21/26 tests earlier.I recall seeing a concept that the first round would contain a UAV inside which would guide the entire salvo.
