Why do rockets go hay-wire like this during ascending? Shouldn't trajectory correction only kick in during terminal phase?

That's most likely wind blowing the exhaust around.
those are some insane precision. I also dont see any craters around the target so it is safe to assume that at least some of these are first shot on target.

This is amazing video when you read western MSM they always qualify China new prowess in military by making caveat yeah but they are not well trained or has not involve in conflict for decades. Looking at this video clearly they honed their skill and they are very well trained for their job. It is no good having the best tool if you re not trained for it

If I remember correctly, it was the newer soldiers who suggested some new training methods that collided with their instructor's old way of doing things. When they finally decided to test out the new methods it seemed that the soldiers were able to hit the target a whole lot better. The accuracy went to above 86% for the new recruits because of this. I believe the younger generation will do a good job at replacing the older instructors and adapting to this upcoming new era of combat.
This is why all the J-20 pilots are 40 or under, bulk of which are in the late 20s and early 30s. Older soldiers have certain habits drilled into their psyche and it is hard for them to work past them.

I think they showed some tube launched loitering attack drones, but I don’t think it was meant to guide a battery.
I could be wrong, but logically speaking, it doesn’t make sense to me. You’d have to launch the drone by firing, then you’d have to wait for the operator to provide coordinates to the command post before conducting a fire mission. All the while you have possibly revealed yourself to counter battery locating device from firing.
In the concept they have other assets providing coordinate. The drone round would be fired like 1 or 2 seconds earlier than rest of salvo to laze targets. The idea is that way they can hit moving target with artillery.
