MyRWum, sorry everyones gone back to sleep on this thread, How a bout a clue, my guess is some sore of short round, 9mm or 45 acp drum fed and obviously an entry weapon. The grip appears to be for a colt government, so is it an american firm? Suppressed as well, drum would appear to hold 30-50 rounds?

Alright, more clue:
1. this is a pistol-to-carbine conversion kit
2. the kit manufacturer is, believe it or not, German company.
3. this company's another product was the source of fad amongst airsoft fans who owns Glock 17/18 (ok, most are Chinese-made copies of the conversion kit, but you know what I mean)

Anymore clue might just as well I reveal the answer.

Is it a HERA arms carbine pistol extension?

Correct, that's the HERA Arms CPE. The kit only consist of the body, everything else including the buttstock are optional fitting, though the buffer tubes and stocks use the AR-15/M-16 compatible types.

That means Scratch have the floor for the next question!

Thank you, MwRYum.

I shall now present the next quizz to you all.
What do we see here? Were is it from, what time was it around and, if you're really into it, elaborate a little on it's operational history? :)

Just to keep this alive but I won't totally answer it because I don't have anything to come up for the quiz...
1. it's "Made in US"
2. it ain't a missile
3. one of its sample - or should I say, what's left of it - now on exhibit in Beijing's aviation museum

Hey Brat, sorry for the late reply, but no hit there. It's no X-plane
What you see below the vehicle in question is a booster, wich became necessary due to a new launch method, after the original method was deemed too dangerous when it produced a mishap.

Lockheed D-21??? I think it is carried by the SR-71 and one of them fell in China due to an accident.

Bit of history behind this bird:

The U.S. launched four missions over the PRC with it before Nixon's visit to China.

That is the correct answer, Siege; it's a D-21 reconnaissance drone.
Initially, the plan was to launch it from the A-12, the CIA version of the SR-71. Four test launches were carried out, the fourth launch went wrong, resulting in the death of a crewmember when he drowned after ejection.
From then on, the drone was lunched from B-52s, wich required the rocket booster, since it was powered by a ramjet engine.
The four missions you mentioned were the only ones ever flown, and I think none was succesfull.

So, it's your turn then, Siege, go ahead!
